This Privacy Statement is made on behalf of Hunter Hall International Limited and its related bodies corporate, collectively referred to as 'Hunter Hall'.
To manage and administer the products and services offered by Hunter Hall we require our investors to give us certain personal information.

Acquisition of Personal Information
Hunter Hall acquires your personal information, including name and address, tax file number, amount invested, bank account details and e-mail address, either directly from you or from your financial advisor or planner. In addition, we may obtain copies of original documents including passport and drivers licence to verify your identity as required by law.
We recognise that the law allows you to elect not to provide your personal information, however, please note that by not providing personal information, we may not be able to offer all our services to you.
When browsing our website, Hunter Hall’s web-servers automatically collect standard information (your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, referring sites, pages viewed and other anonymous information) as part of the HTTP web protocol. Hunter Hall does not use ‘cookies’ in its website and does not collect ‘click-stream’ data.
Use of Personal Information
Personal information is collected, held and used for the purpose of managing your investment with Hunter Hall. In doing so we may share your information amongst the Hunter Hall entities, or with external third parties, including the share registry, the custodian, the auditors, government regulators and your financial planner or advisor.
The information you provide enables us to perform a number of essential functions, including making distributions and redemptions, making dividend payments and sending various communications, including dividend statements, tax statements and annual reports.
Hunter Hall also uses the information to send investors marketing materials about the products and services we provide.
Disclosure to Third Parties
In managing your investment Hunter Hall may need to disclose your personal information to external parties, including:
- the external custodian, which provides custodial services to the Hunter Hall Funds and to Hunter Hall Global Value Limited,
- the share registry, which provides share registry services for Hunter Hall International Limited and Hunter Hall Global Value Limited,
- the external auditors of the Hunter Hall Group, and the Hunter Hall Funds,
- regulatory authorities as required from time to time to fulfill legal and regulatory reporting, including the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), ASX and AUSTRAC,
- external contractors for the provision of IT support, print or mail services, and
- your financial advisor, financial planner or broker.
For each of the above, only information that is necessary for each situation will be disclosed. You may elect for your information not to be disclosed to your advisor or financial planner by notifying our Investor Relations Department.

Storage and SecurityYour personal information is held by us in secure electronic systems and filing systems. We use a range of security processes to protect the confidentiality and security of personal information that we hold. Access to the information is limited to authorised personnel only.
CommunicationsConsistent with the Privacy Commissioner’s guidelines, we provide a facility for investors to choose not to receive marketing material from Hunter Hall. If you do not wish to receive any marketing information about Hunter Hall products or services, please advise us, by telephone or in writing.
