Peter James MacDonald Hall - B.A.

Chief Investment Officer
Mr Hall is Executive Chairman and Executive Director of Hunter Hall International Limited, a publicly listed entity. He is Chief Investment Officer of Hunter Hall Investment Management Limited and Executive Chairman and Executive Director of Hunter Hall International (UK) Limited. With regards to Hunter Hall International Limited, he is a Trustee of the Charitable Trust, a member of the Charities Committee and of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

Mr Hall is also a Patron of the Asian Rhino Project and Sea Shepherd UK, a Director of the International Rhino Foundation and a member of the Sydney Film Festival Council.

Mr Hall has 31 years experience in investment markets. Previously he was Investment Manager of Hancock & Gore Limited, Portfolio Manager and Analyst with Mercantile Mutual Holdings Limited, Industrial Analyst with Pembroke Securities Limited, Investment Analyst with New Zealand South British Insurance Limited and a journalist with John Fairfax & Sons Limited.

Mr Hall completed the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management Program in 2003.

Mr Hall was awarded Member (AM) of the Order of Australia in 2010 for his philanthropic contributions to society and his service to the finance management industry.

Deputy Chief Investment Officer (London), Senior Portfolio Manager
Mr McDonald is Executive Director of the international subsidiary Hunter Hall International (UK) Limited and Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager of Hunter Hall Investment Management Limited.

Mr McDonald has been based at Hunter Hall's office in London since 2003 and focuses on the European, American and Japanese markets. As Deputy Chief Investment Officer he contributes to asset mix, capital allocation, team management and team selection decisions.

Mr McDonald has 17 years of industry experience, including six years at BT Funds Management in the positions of Japanese Electronics Analyst and US Telecoms, Telecoms Equipment and Data Networking Analyst.
Jonathan Rabinovitz
Jonathan Rabinovitz - B.Com. (Hons)
Deputy Chief Investment Officer (Sydney), Senior Portfolio Manager
Mr Rabinovitz has 29 years experience in the securities industry. He started his career as an equities analyst at Pembroke Securities Limited followed by analyst roles at Jardine Fleming Australia Securities Limited and UBS Warburg Limited, where he was a rated analyst for a number of years. At UBS, he moved into research/sales and later specialised in smaller companies at Credit Suisse First Boston Limited and Shaw Stockbroking Limited.

Mr Rabinovitz initially joined Hunter Hall in 2004 as a Portfolio Manager and later as Group Portfolio Manager. He left the company to join Thorney Investments as an Investment Manager in 2009 and returned to Hunter Hall in June 2012.

Simon Bridger - B.Com.
Portfolio Manager
Mr Bridger has 27 years of experience in financial markets and had worked at Bain/Deutsche Bank, James Capel HSBC and ABN AMRO before joining Perpetual in 2008.

At Perpetual Investments Mr Bridger was responsible for managing the Perpetual Ethical SRI Fund and the Australian Sustainability Fund, a separately run mandate. During his time at Perpetual the Ethical SRI Fund was recognised by Mercer Consulting Group as the top performing Australian fund in the year to 30 June 2010 when it achieved a return of 38.2%. The fund was also awarded the Ethical Investor Fund of the Year award in 2010.

 

Li Zhang
Li Zhang - B.Eng., M.Bus.
Portfolio Manager
Mr Zhang has 13 years of industry experience and his previous experience with the company includes investment analysis with a focus on investment research.

Mr Zhang’s previous experience includes Investment Manager for Smartec Capital and assistant engineer in a semiconductor devices company in Shanghai.
Yizhong Chan
Yizhong Chan - B.M., M.M., PD, M.App.Fin.
Portfolio Manager
Mr Chan has worked at Hunter Hall since 2007 and is a Portfolio Manager with a focus on American, Asian and European markets. His previous experience with the company includes investment analysis with a focus on investment research. Prior to that he was involved in international equity dealing, servicing of rating agencies and research houses, performance analysis, and investor relations.

Previously, Mr Chan was a concert cellist in Germany.

Weibin Ge - M.Bus.Fin., MBA, CFA
Equities Analyst
Mr Ge is an Equities Analyst and has eight years of experience in the Australian financial services sector; four years of which was as a research analyst with BBY Limited and three years as an equity research analyst with Bandini Investment Holdings.

Mr Ge holds a Master of Business in Finance and an MBA. He has also completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and has been awarded the CFA Charter.
Andrew Marvell
Andrew Marvell - B.Ec (Soc.Sc)
Equities and Currency Dealer, Analyst
Mr Marvell has worked at Hunter Hall since 2006 and is its international and Australian equities and currency dealer. He is also responsible for performance analysis and written communication. He is based at Hunter Hall's office in London.

He was previously a Portfolio Administrator with particular responsibilities in unit pricing.
Cameron Haynes
Arden Jennings - B.App.Fin., B.Com.-Accg
Equities Analyst and Dealer (Australia/Asia)
Mr Jennings has worked at Hunter Hall since 2011 and is an Equities Analyst and the Australian/Asian Equities Dealer.

His previous experience with the company includes being responsible for Investor Relations, assisting with the servicing of ratings agencies and research houses as well as trade settlements. He also worked extensively with the Hunter Hall Global Value Limited (HHV) Chairman, Philip Marcus Clark AM.

Mr Jennings completed a double degree in Applied Finance and Commerce - Accounting at Macquarie University and has passed Level 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.
